MLK Day:: Blue and Whiskey

Navy Blue Top and Navy Blue Pants

On a blistering cold day in Washington, after a dusting snowfall I went downtown to photograph at the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial. Dr. King was a civil rights leader and servant for the cause of human rights and civil rights for all people.

He never made the civil rights movement about himself. He lived his life serving others, and was trying to love and serve humanity. He was drum major for justice and peace. He left a committed life behind. He was devoted to love, justice and truth. As a nation, we have to make improvements in our life. His message was he had a passion for humanity. He was a game changer, his impact to change civil disobedience changed the world. Out of a mountain of despair there is a stone of hope because we are one. One nation created under God.

I am wearing a navy blue silk blouse, with navy leather leggings. I finished the look with gray booties and a navy chain handbag.
